Its coastline stretches from Strait of Hormuz in the north until the borders of Yemen, overlooking 3 seas: The Arabian Gulf, Sea of Oman, and The Arabian Sea. It shares land borders with the UAE and Saudi Arabia from the west, Yemen from the south, Strait of Hormuz and the Islamic Republic of Iran from the north and overlooks the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean from the east.

Oman covers a total area of 309,500 km2 and it is a country of low population estimated by 4.5 million, which means 15 individuals per every km2, making it one of the lowest population countries in the world. The country is regarded of a high economical income, enjoys a vital economy and investment environment, as it is the heart of trade that links the east with the west- therefore Europe, and Asia.

The Sultanate enjoys a significant tourism potential, as it has an abundance of diverse attractions, making it an ideal destination for tourists to experience different types of tourism activities. It offers amazing natural landscapes rolling up from the high mountains stretching from the west to the east, down to its low plains, beautiful Wadis and flora and fauna, all the way to its sandy coastlines and golden deserts.
